SOFTWARE: EXEcutioner Instructions
1. The EXEcutioner is an application created by GICO-IT to overcome a challenge with the Celerant POS software.
2. It restarts the Celerant Stratus Core on the local to the store server basically performing a reboot of the Celerant application.
3. Yes, it sends an email to the Director of Retail, Area Managers, and Celerant. This is to keep Celerant informed of this ongoing issue.
4. You should have it, GICO-IT has deployed it company-wide and it will be a shortcut on the desktop of the store manager's computer
The initial screen allows you to select from a couple of options
1. Restart the Celerant StratusCore service
a. Always start with this option
2. Reboot the Server
a. This is only if restarting the StratusCore does not resolve your problem.
b. Restarting the server could cause an extended outage if the server does not return to a normal operating state.
You have chosen to Restart the Celerant StratusCore
1. Have all of your users log out of, or close the Celerant application store-wide.
2. Do not attempt to utilize Celerant store-wide while restarting the Celerant StratusCore
